Farm Share is a unique farming membership that lets you and your family experience organic farming without the responsibility of maintaining it every day.
We prepare and cultivate the farm, care for your crops throughout the week, and invite you to visit, participate, learn and harvest fresh seasonal produce as it grows.

Important Details to Know

Up to 10 seasonal varieties will be cultivated as part of the Farm Share.

Community Farm Share: Thakkar Farm will decide the seasonal varieties to be cultivated and inform members about the crops being grown.

Independent Farm Share: Members can choose up to 5 varieties from the seasonal options recommended by the Thakkar Farm team.

Only seasonal crops will be cultivated; permanent trees cannot be planted.

The Farm Share is a demarcated plot within Thakkar Farm and does not constitute individual land ownership.

Members are entitled to receive up to 10 kg of organically grown produce per month from their Farm Share. The quantity provided may vary each month depending on the actual seasonal harvest and availability, and may be less than 10 kg.

The produce is included as part of the Farm Share membership and is not an additional purchase.

What's the difference between Community and Independent Farm Share?
Community Farm Share allows multiple members to share a cultivated farming area and enjoy the harvest together. Independent Farm Share offers a dedicated farm area exclusively for one member or family with a minimum one-year commitment.
Do I need any farming experience?
No. Farm Share is designed for everyone. Our experienced farmers guide you during every visit, making it easy to learn and participate regardless of your experience.
What happens when I'm not at the farm?
Our farm team continues to care for your crops by watering, nurturing and monitoring their growth, ensuring your Farm Share remains healthy throughout the season.
Can I harvest my own produce?
Yes. During your scheduled visits, you can harvest fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables grown as part of your Farm Share, subject to seasonal availability.
How do I become a Farm Share member?

How often can I visit the farm?
The number of visits depends on the membership plan you choose. Each plan includes scheduled farm visits where you can participate in farming activities and harvest seasonal produce.
Please Note: Farm Share provides access to a demarcated farming space within Thakkar Farm; the land is not individually owned by members. Crop selection is managed by Thakkar Farm and varies according to the season, with up to five varieties cultivated at a time. Permanent trees cannot be planted as part of the Farm Share.
