About Our Farm

The Farm Retreat (Thakkar Farm – organic since 1990) is a serene river-touch organic farm and experiential getaway nestled at the foothills of Matheran, just a short drive from Mumbai.

Spread across 65+ acres, the farm has been practicing organic farming since 1990 and is home to free-grazing Gir cows, lush orchards, and seasonal produce. 

Designed as a peaceful escape from city life, it offers farm stays, day experiences, organic farm share and curated activities like guided organic farm tours, fruit picking, tractor rides, cow feeding, riverside relaxation & more.
